Want to hack together your own ExBus Card? This Protoboard Card provides the logic to participate in the ExBus addressing protocol, breaks out useful signals, and features a 100mil grid of plated through-holes to put whatever you want to wire up.
Note: Batch 1 of this card had a design error that required scratching out a trace and soldering a wire between two chip legs. These cards will arrive pre-scratched, but you'll need to add the wire as part of assembling the board.
Note 2: The card select signal isn't individually broken out on this version, but it is still easily accessible on pins 12 and 13 of U6. Similarly, you'll need to tap into a bypass capacitor footprint to power your design.

"ExBus" short for Expansion Bus is the name I gave to a multiplexing protocol for PC-style addon cards to the GameTank. ExBus cards get access to 12 bidirectional I/O lines from the rear expansion port, and this access can be shared between multiple other cards that are connected simultaneously.
ExBus is not required for most GameTank games.
